She asked for police to come to her house. $JDV¿UHDWDUHVLGHQFHLQ3LORW5RFN resulted in no injuries. 7KH¿UHKDSSHQHGDWDERXWDP when someone hit a gas line on the 400 block of Southwest Birch Place. A tree service company was able to get people out of the area, and a Pendleton ambulance crew removed a bed-ridden person from the home. The gas company had to dig to reach WKHOLQHDQG¿QDOO\VKXWRIIWKHÀRZDWDERXW 9:30 a.m. •A man at about 9:20 a.m. at Community Counseling Solutions, Boardman, threatened to kill himself. Boardman police responded and took the man to the police department, where an ambulance then took him to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston. •A 40-year-old man in Boardman shot himself in the leg. A caller at 9:36 a.m. reported the shooting happened on the 70700 block of Kunze Lane. The Morrow &RXQW\6KHULII¶V2I¿FHDQG%RDUGPDQ police responded. Someone used a personal vehicle to drive the wounded man to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston. He also said he saw a white male get out of a gray Suzuki Samurai and kick and stomp on it. That happened Wednesday, he said, and the male also hit the animal with a crescent wrench and left it on the shoulder of the roadway. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy responded and gave the owner of the dogs a warning and said one more complaint will result in a citation.
