Paramedic
The Pendleton Fire
Department is
seeking to fill three
new openings for
Single Role
Paramedics and establish a list of qualified
candidates for future openings. Paramedics
will perform a variety of duties in response to
calls for emergency and non-emergency
medical services; participate in medical
education, disaster preparedness, and
training activities. They also perform fire
station and equipment maintenance and
other related assignments. These positions
are full time positions assigned to a 24/48
hour work schedule. Salary ranges from
$3,479 – $4,547/month. High school
diploma or GED equivalent required (Associ-
ate Degree in Paramedicine preferred); and
at least one year of emergency medical
response experience. Also, must possess a
valid EMT-Paramedic certificate (if not an
Oregon certificate, must meet requirements
for Oregon reciprocity) and possess, or be
able to obtain within the first year, a valid
Advanced Cardiac Life Support and
Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support
certificate. Must be able to pass the
departmentʼs security clearance standards
including review of criminal history and
driving record. Qualified candidates must
