der of the Confederate forces at Appomattox,

A freak accident during baseball practice

Frank Harkenrider was sworn in as may-

Council Monday night. Harkenrider, as pres-
ident of the council, became acting mayor
upon the death of Mayor Bill Neuffer April 8.
