February 26, 1936-March 31, 2015 Milton-Freewater June 22, 1940-April 5, 2015 •Oregon State Police reported the driver of a Mazda Protege was injured in a crash on the outskirts of Pendleton. The driver was in the eastbound lane on Interstate 84 near milepost 207 when the vehicle lost control at about 5:35 a.m., and it struck a guardrail on the roadway’s south shoulder. Pendleton medics transported the driver to St. Anthony Hospital, Pendleton, for treatment. State police did not provide the identity of the driver. •A Pendleton resident at 8:28 a.m. complained about middle school students “trashing things and making a bunch of noise while she is trying to sleep” while they are at the bus stop near her house on Southwest 24th Street. •A Hermiston-area woman at 12:29 p.m. reported a man set up a fake Facebook account and is stalking her. She asked law enforcement for advice. •A Pendleton caller at 1:05 p.m. reported a female entered his vehicle on Southwest Eighth Street and Frazer Avenue and threatened to kill him and shoot up his house. $FDOOHUDWSPWROGWKH8PDWLOOD&RXQW\6KHULII¶V2I¿FH an ex-con has guns at Villadom Mobile Home & RV Park, 53785 W. Crockett Road, Milton-Freewater. •Oregon State Police reported at least one person was injured in a two-vehicle crash a little before 4 p.m. on Highway 11 and West Crockett Road, Milton-Freewater. Carroll V. Ball, 71, and his 93-year-old passenger, Allene June Burton, were in a Dodge R2500 pickup at the stop sign on Crockett Road and pulled onto the highway, according to state police. Ball, though, did not see the vehicle that Charles Conrad Spomer, 73, was driving southbound, and the Dodge smashed into the left side of Spomer’s vehicle. State police did not report who was injured or how severely. There also was no indication of a citation. •Pendleton police at 3:11 p.m. received a call from the city library that several people reported a registered sex offender used a computer there. The man left the library, but the caller asked police to check on this. •A Pilot Rock man told police at 4:26 p.m. he loaned a man some log bunks that go into a trailer, but the man never returned them. So the caller said he took them back and left them in his front yard. Now the man he loaned them to removed them and left a note saying the bunks were not worth paying for. The caller DVNHGIRUDQRI¿FHU •A 15-year-old Irrigon student required an ambulance ride at about 6 p.m. to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston, be- cause she had a headache and felt dizzy after hitting her head with someone else earlier at school. •A juvenile at about 7:30 p.m. rode a motorcycle on the Pendleton River Parkway behind Roy Raley Park, 1205 S.W. Court Ave., Pendleton, which prompted a caller to complain about the lad going too fast and making a racket. •Then an off-duty cop at 7:35 p.m. reported a male dressed in black rode a small motor scooter into the parking lot of Dave’s 12th Street Food Mart, 220 S.W. 12th St., Pendleton, which is across the street from Roy Raley Park.
