Key to the season: Last year, the Bulldogs fin-
ished with 22 players on the roster, and this
year its ballooned up to 42.
Most of the program is made up of sopho-
mores and freshman, so its set up for the fu-
ture. Hammond said the goal is getting every-
thing moving upward and hopefully get some
wins along the way.
“We’re trying to get everything moving in the
right direction,” he said. “Try to keep contin-
ue growing out numbers, try to grow lacrosse
into an official sport and all the recognition that
comes along with that. We still feel like we
have a team that should be competitive in ev-
ery game.”

power or out-athleticize othe teams, but we
play smart and have a lot of heart.”
Key to the season: The Sasquatch have
already begun to carry the momentum from
last season’s final win to this year. Through
four games, they’ve already doubled last
year’s win total, taking two contests out of
four.
“They finally figured out how good they
could be,” Gabriel said.
Junior Marcus Taylor has been a key cog to
the team’s success.
