Hoquiam, Wash-
ington. He attended
schools in Hoquiam
and then went to
work in the logging
camps at a very ear-
ly age. He enlisted
in the Navy in 1957
and was stationed at
Lake Mead Base in
Las Vegas, Nevada. Parsons

gon and Washington coast.
He met Marlene Barnett
of Weston, Oregon, in 1973
and they were married March
15, 1974. He worked for
