tence of Ed. Hagen and Walter F. Pat
ton, former policemen. Dick Russell
and Bd. Carey, convicted In federal
court hero of removing 1.770 quarts
of bonded liquor from a V. S. customs
warehouse March 22, 191S. has been
affirmed by the U. 8. circuit court of
appeals. It was announced today. Ha
gen was fined $1,000 and given a sen
tence of two years, missel! was sen
tenced to two years, Carey got' 15
months and Patton 22 months. The
men have all been out on bond since
thev were sentenced.
