Watters arrived home on Wednesday, feeling fine after her op eratlon, staying at the hospital in Pendleton for several weeks. John Legros and John Chatas went to La Grande on Thursday to make arrangements for leaving the railroaa employ prior to enlisting In the army of railroad men. They are both sec tion foremen and will go In that line of work. Mra. James Baker wentto Kamela on Friday evening to attend the school Program. . Mr- and Mrs. J. O'Merra went to La Grande on Saturday night. The ladies of the Red Cross aux iliary have made arrangements for having a dance on Saturday evening. May 18, for the purpose of swelling their Red Cross funds. There is now a little over thirty dollars and with what is expected from the dance they expect to have a nice sum to turn In.
