The changing of the contract for the building of the two steel bridges across the Umatilla river on the reservation is responsible for the delay in the starting of those structures, accord ing to a letter received by Snpt. A total of 32 men out of the first 161 called from this county have been rejected for physical disability and their names were sent in last night by the local board to the district board. Out of the list there were 1 X enlistments, leaving US from which to pick the quota of 4.1. The local board is meeting this afternoon to clean up all cases still pending.
