The Older Man Said:
1
"I thot a great deal before I
settled on a Hallmark watch as
my gift to you.
"I wanted something that
would last you throuout your
life time, something that would
be an intimate personal possessi
on, that would be useful and yet
not lack the element of romance
and beauty that should typify a
gift to a young man standing on
the threshhold of life.
"But more than any of these
things my gift must posess that
degree of excellence which sums
up all that men know today in
a particular field.
"The watch I gjve you is not
an extravagance yet the watch
does not exist that is its superior
in any real sense. I was guid
ed in my choice by a skilled
jeweler who gives assurance that
for accuracy there is nothing
more procurable while with care
its pulsating movement will be
equally precise when your grand
son hands it down.
"My wish for you could not be
greater than that you may be as
free of meaningless frills, as full
of true worth, as genuinely effi
cient and economical as your
watch."
May we assist you in the se
lection of such a gift watch ; they
are priced from $25 to $125.00.
