The suc cess of its citizens grows in proportion to the number of dollars that are kept at work here. Dollars pay for labor. Industries grow and labor finds employment in proportion to the demand which each resident makes for the products sold or made at home, but it all depends on the number of dollar that are in circulation here at home. Most of us have never had an opportunity to be of any real service to our home town. We are all willing enough. But we have not had the means to prove in actual deeds our civic patriotism. We know that each one of us can help our community and thereby help ourselves. Let's try it. Little acts combined will soon accomplish big things. Pendleton will eventually become a big, busy and thriving city if every man, woman and child will join us today in the re solve to begin now and continue persistently the policy of keeping their money in circula tion here at home.
