The result was that the city recor der was Instructed to advertise for! bids for 2.10 feet of 10 inch terra cottn pipe. This will necessitate si delay of ten dais or two weeks. How ever, the city attorney advised thut there was no wa "f securing the pipe under the charter except b advertis-' Ing for bids. The old reservoir will hold enough water to give the natatorium three' fillings. Thus there will always, in; the hot months, be an ample supplv of temperate water Al the present! time when the water Is first turned in j it is so cold that few people will go; into it. By the ihird day It has at-' talned the right tenperatare and at the end of three 'la1 s must be turned OUt for fresh water. The committee believes their plan of having a re SOrve supply of uarm water will double the revenue from the institu tion.
