Rock Pirates. As on the Sunday
previous victory came upon a one
point margin, the final score being
6 to 5. The largest crowd that has
seen a local ballgame for some time

Supervisor W. W. Cryder of the
Umatilla forest has received reports
of the readings of the snow stakes in
the mountains of the southern end of
the county for the first of the month.
The stake at Pearson's Meadows
showed 15 inches but no snow was
reported at any of the other stakes.
