A com mittee, comprising W. L. Thompson, J. Roy Kalcy and Mark Patton, was appointed to confer with Elmer Sear cy, who has petitioned for the afreet's opening, to see what can be done lr the matter. Mr. Searcy, who owni property In the rear of Happy Can yon and be petitioned for the open ing of the street several months pri or to the Kound-up. He agreed, however, to let the matter go over until after the Happy Canyon feature of the Itound-up this year.
