John Inglls, the crop ex pert, Is back in the city and says: "We have more or less sporadic cases of damage from Hessian fly but this year it Is a severe situation, which is causing more consideration as to the probable outcome of the wheat crop. Many sections along the Mis souri river, where there is a large acreage In wheat, think that they will have from 25 to 50 per cent. Some sections of Illinois are badly infested with both the chinch bug and the fly. Both corn and oats are look ing poor."
