C, gave an illustrated talk upon the subject of his trip to Europe with the American commission appointed to Investigate rural credits. He spoke lu. briefly upon the subject of the European credit system but gave very interesting Information regarding Eu ropean tarming methods and the co operative marketing systems in vogue in the old country. He confined his lecture mainly to Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany and Holland. The meeting Saturday' evening was under the auspices of the Farmers' I'nion and was presided over by Man uel Fiiedley, president of the county union.
