Wheat market trade was extremely bullish at the start and an advnn:e of 3-85-8c a bushel was forced. There was con siderable short covering at the start and this gave the market an extrem ely bullish position. Closing figures were fractionally lower than the open ing, but still showed a net gain of 1-4 (q 3-9c over yesterday. The testimony of a Pendleton citi zen Can be easily investigated. What better proof can be had? S. P. Hutchinson, prop, mill and feed store, 1610 W. Webb street, Pendleton. Oregon, says: "I was caused a great deal of suffering by a dull pain in my back, Just over my kidneys. For a long time I did not think the trouble was caused by weak kidneys, but I often noticed that my kidneys were sluggish and that the kidney secretions did not pass freely. I have used Doan's Kidney Pills for these ailments and they have always relieved the pain in my back and trouble with the kidney secretions. In May, 1910, I publicly recvmmendel Doan's Kidney Pills and I am glad to confirm that statement. I still use this remedy with very good re sults." "When Your Back Is Lame Re member the Name." Dont simply ask for a kidney remedy ask distinctly for Doan's Kidney Pills, the same that Mr. Hutchinson had, the remedy back ed by home testimony. 'BOc all stores. One extra fine load of Montana hogs sold at $8.85 In the North Portland yards today, this being a dime above previous figures. , There was quite a good tone In the trade during the day with less than two full loads reported In overnight. Considering everything the market today is not really above that of yesterday, quality considered, but the trend of the trade Is some what better. The load from Montana which brought the dime extra was said to be well worth the premium by all who saw the stuff. Today's general hog market range: Extra fancy $8.65 8.7 5 Ordinary light 8.60 Fancy heavy 8 40 ii 8.5ft Rough and heavy 7.89 8.00 Gol Cattle Bring the Top. There was some real good cattle in from Central Oregon today and early transactions indicate that top prices would be paid. Some fairly good stuff likewise came forward from Montana and some stuff was received from Cal ifornia points. Condition or the cattle trade is rather fair here although no real strength Is Indicated by the general market. Two loads of calves came forward; an unusual number for this trade.
