A quiet wedding will occur tomor row tnornlnp at 10 o'clock at tho home of Major and Mrs. Lee Moor- house on Water street when their daughter, Mrs. Augusta ifoule, will he married to Oliver P. Morton of Portland. The ceremony will be per formed by Rev. Frank J. Milnes of the First Presbyterian church. Mrs. Moule has for a number of years been a teacher In the Pendleton public schools and has been quite popular In society circles. Mr. Morton Is con nected with the legal department of the United States reclamation ser vice and Is well known here both In the professional and- social world. Tlio couple will make their home in Portland where Mr. Morton has his headquarters. Mrs. Minnie Hailey of Walla Walla will arrive this evening to upend Run day at the home of her sister, Mrs. Tom Thompson. Mrs. J. n. Haley. Mrs. F. E. Judd and Mrs. Xesmlth Ankcney have spent the pa.st week at Bingham Springs. Mr. and Mrs. George Hartman, jr., are upending their vacation at ?the mountain resort of Lnmffc Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Friedman were called to Portland during the week by the death of Mrs. Friedman's mother.
