Trading Stamps Bing, Weaver went to the Harris place for him. It appears that Bing was not there and Harris claims he thought Weaver was a burglar and shot him. Weaver Is at the hospital and the attending physicians believe he will recover. Turold tells his teammates and pro poses a scheme to give a Mother Hub bard bazaar for the benefit of the i ' A ONE OF THE HEAL (OWfilltLS WHICH EXHIBITS IX The 101 Ranch Wild West will ar rive in Pendleton tomorrow morning, prepared, It Is said, to give the most typical show of Its kind ever present ed here by a traveling exhibition. Nat urally, there will be the usual army of small boys on hand to watch the unloading of the trains and to see the paraphernalia transferred to the show grounds at Round-Up Park. The fact that it will be the second show with in a week will accentuate the Interest of the curious crowds. As rapidly as possible the Impedi menta of the show, the steers, the buffaloes and the long string of horses will be transferred to the show grounds; the necessary tents erectec, breakfast served and preparations completed for the parade, which will be the first big event of the day. The procession will leave the show grounds about 1 o'clock. It will be a mile in length, and cover the usual downtown route. Many novel features are promised for the parade. The old life on tho plains will be typified by a caravan of prairie schooners, drawn by long horned Texas steers, by an old stage coach drawn by army mules and driv en by ltocky Monntaln Hank, one of the last of the old overland drivers, an J by floats depicting scenes In the Old West. In the line will also be scores of cowboys, cowgirls, Indian braves with their squaws, mounted on ponies, with the pappooses drawn in the genuine Indian "traveaux," Mexican vaqueros, Cossacks and other ' v ) dpi ' ( JL... i 1 . This dramatic story depicts how a horse carried his fair driver across the tape on the frozen river far ahead of the others Her winning purse enabled her to engage a lawyer who exonerated her lover from supposed guilt and fixed the crime upon the real criminal. A first class comedy with a very humorous dog In It, and a very amusing trick pony. No. 4. "The Harvest In Sicily." In teresting views in Sicily when the crops are gathered and everyone joins the harvest feast of hilarious mirth. No. 5. "Orphans of the Plains." American Pathe. A good specimen of the typical western cowboy and In dian picture. The diversified performance promises plenty of thrills, with a vein of comedy that furnishes many a good laugh. The cowboys give exhibi tions of roping, the cowgirls vie with them In riding "outlaw" horses, the Indians give picturesque exhibitions of old-time border warfare, the Mex icans show how the stage coach wa held up by bandits in the old days, Koeky Mountain Hank drives a pralr 1j schooner, Just as he did in the early seventies, there Is a quadrille on horseback, a horsethlef Is captured and punished, Edith Tantlinger, an Oklahoma Indiun girl, gives remark able exhibitions of clay-pigeon shoot ing on the ground, and Wenona, a Sioux girl, shoots glass balls from the back of a swiftly moving pony, and there are a hundred and one other novel things to keep the audience "going."
