At least this is the opinion of Dr. W. H. Lytle, who has been responsible for many victories that have been won on the gridiron by the local teams and who is asain directing the moleskin squad this year, and all early indica t.ons substantiate the claims of the coach. "Our line this year will be heavier than last year," he said last evening while in the midst of his duties teach ing the raw recruits tne rud.ments of the game. "With the exception of Captain Ilinderman at tackle and Rich Thompson at end, the line will be made up entirely of new material, but there are a number of these novices who have weight and speed and with a little coaching should develop into whirlwinds. The back field will be a fast one, with Jordan, Houser and Chapman to carry the ball. We will miss Devine, but we have a new man- by the name of Kreos who, though very raw, has all the earmarks of a great find." At present Jordan is not able to don a suit, owing to a slight illness, and, until he recovers, Ilinderman will bo in the fullback position. As punters this year, the team will have both Ilinderman and Jordan, who are experienced men in booting the pig skin. nor GROWERS HOLD PRODUCT FOR ADVANCE. UAUOXIOT IS SALVATIONIST. , .
