Recent sclentlf'c comparisons In Europe of the world's mineral springs are particularly interesting at this time. Each of the European health re- sorts are given great detail of worth, both as to quality of water and air, treatment and patronage. The famous health waters of Asia, India, Japan and the South Seas are given much attention and cons dera tion but what Is particularly Inter esting to Americans and especially to Callfornlans and the people of the Pacific coast Is the fact that Paso Robles Hot Spr'ngs Is recognized as the Ideally perfect health resort and Its cures are most miraculous. Paso Robles has long been known to Callfornlans, for here It was that the Indians for centuries came to treat their sick, even making dangerous Journeys for hundreds of miles, fight Ing their way through hostile tribes to reach these waters. Then came Padre Jun'perro Serra with his Fran clscan monks, and his reports to the Church of Rome and to the throne of Spain are today extant, giving mar velous narratives of seeming wonders performed at Paso Robles (The Paas of the Oaks.) The town of Paso Robles Is located on uplands of great beauty. It lies 20 miles from the sea, is 720 feet above sea level and is sheltered round about by a perfect wall of mountain ranges so that the' sea air Is temper ed with hot land winds, f'ltcred and cooled and given to Paso Robles In a perfect state. The waters at the springs come forth both hot and cold. Here Is mineral mud also and other forms of water treatment recognized by sci ence for curative purposes. KheumatiHm, gout, stomach and kidney diseases seem to be the most prevalent at Paso Robles, although the waters are unfailing for female complaints nnd all forms of nervous disorders. Paso Robles ' not a resort like those of Europe, where only the rich attend. You may find scores of poor people living In tents or lodging houses, who come here and are cured with little cost except that necessary to keep them under shelter and to furnish meals. No one Is denied use of Its waters except those suffering with tu bereulosis or unclean disease. The rich have the'r exclusive and luxurious hotelH and private baths, while the medium purse may select comfortable and desirable quarters In hotel or private boarding house. Paso Kobles Hot Springs is Indeed worthy of the estimate placed upon It by foreign thinkers, as It cures nnd t generous policy towards health seekers make It a spot worthy of Am- .rien and California. A small book, neatly llimstr.wod, has been recently published by the management telling the story of the Hot Springs In a most interesting manner and giving complete Informa t'on. MADE SOUND AND WELL BY 3 SETS OF CUTICURA "My trouble began about three yean go with little black swellinps scattered over my face and neck, 'i hoy would disappear but thev would leave little black scars that would itch at times so 1 couldn't keep from scratching them. Latgei twellingi would arpear In tbi am place and they were fo painful I could hardly bear it and mv clothes would stick to the sores. The first doctor I went to tald the disease was scrofula, but the trouble only got worse ad spread. By this time it was all over my arms and the upper part of my body in big swellings as large as a dollar. It was to painful that I could not bear to lie on my back at night. The second doctor pronounced my disease inflam mation of the lymphatic glands. He topped the swellings, but hen they would break the places would not heal. He tried everything that he could but to no effect. He said 1 might be cured but it would take a long time. I bought set of the Cuticura Remedies and used them according to directions and in less than a week some of the places were nearly well. I continued with the Cuti cura Remedies until I had used trite sets, and now I am sound and well. The disease lasted three year from the time it commenced until I was cured. Before Christmas something broke out on my seven year old brother's bands In the form of large sores. I tried every thing I eoul'l think of but to no effect until I happened to think nf Cuticura and one apilicntion cured him. Also, not long ag my sistor got a had bum on her ankl I have been using Cuti cura on tha and it gave her scarcely any trouble 0. L. Wilson, Puryear, Tenn., Feb. B, 1908." As there is often some one in your family who suffers an attack of Indi gestion or some form of stomach trouble, why don't you keep some Dlapepeln In the house handy? Th e harmless blessing w 11 digest anything you can eat without the slightest discomfort, and overcome a sour, gassy stomach five minutes af- , ter. 1 Tell your pharmacist to let you read the formula plainly printed on these 50-cent cases of Pape's DIapepsIn, then you will readily see why It makes Indigestion, sour stomach, heartburn and other dstress go In five minutes and relieves at once such miseries as belching of gas, eructa tions of sour undigested food, nausea, headaches, dizziness, constipation and other stomach disorders. Some folks have tried so long to find relief from Ind'gestion and dys pepsia or an out of order stomach with the common everyday cures ad vertised that they have about made up their minds that they have some thing else wrong, or believe theirs Is a case of nervousness, gastritis, ca tarrh of the stomach or cancer. This, no doubt, is a serious m'stake. Your real trouble is, what you eat does not digest; Instead, It ferments and sours, turns to acid, gas and stomach poison, which putrefy In the digestive tract and Intestines, and, besides, poisons the breath with nau seous odors. A hearty appetite, with thorough digestion, and without the slightest discomfort or misery of the stom ach, is waiting for you as soon as you decide to try Pape's Diapepsin. Different Location.
