In the window (if the Pendleton drug store Is shown the $500 silver loving cup that wris awarded to Mal heur county by the national Irriga tion congress that met at Sacramen to a year ago. It was given the Mal .heur people for the best collective fxhlhlt of fruits. The cup was brought here by W. R. Crawford, vice president and general manager of the Interstate Farm Orchard company, who has headquarters here for a few days. The cup symbolizes the fruit raising possibilities of Malheur county which is Just now being developed along those lines. and relatives were present at the cemetery. The service at the Taylor farm home was held at 10 o'clock and the procession drove from there to Olney cemetery, where the Interment occur red. Rev. W. T. Euster conducted the service and the choir of the Meth odist church sang several approprl nte numbers. Mrs. Dr. Riggers Reorted Lost nt Ocetin Park Drowning Feared. Mrs. A. L. Biggers, wife of Dr. A. I j. Biggers, city physician nt La Cande, Is reported missing at Ocean Fark and there are grave fears that she has been drowned. A similar fate Is feared for her daughter and for her sister, who Is from Hlllsboro. In a 'phone message from L Grande this morning It was stated that Dr. Biggers, the husband, Is now fishing on the Mlnam and conse quently had not heard the bad news'.
