Often The Kidneys Are
Weakened by Over-Wort
"Chealthy Kidneys Make Impure Blood.
It used to be considered that only
nrinary and bladder troubles were to be
traced to the kidneys,
but now modern
science proves that
nearly all diseases
have their beginnm?
in the disorder ol
these most important
organs.
The kidneys filter
and purify the blood
that is their work.
Therefore, when your kidneys are weak
rc out of order, you can understand how
quickly your entire body is affected and
low every organ seems to fail to do iu
iuty.
If you are sick or " feel badly," begin
taking the great kidney remedy, Lr.
Kilmer's Swamp-Root, because as soon
as your kidneys are well they will help
ill the other organs to health. A trial
will convince anyone.
If vou are sick vou can make no mis

Dr. Kilmer's Swamp-Root, the great

THE AMOUNT OF YOUR "BELIEF IN ADVERTISING" WHICH IS PUT
INTO TYPE IS WHAT COUNTS.
There la probably a clothing
ad In today's paper that will
remind you that your new suit
Is overdue. Meet the ad "face
to face," and It will help you to
meel the clothes problem that
way.
If yu have lived too long In
one place, look at the furnished
rooms advertised today and
get a change of scene.
It won't pay you to try to deal
with a buyer who wants your
property only half as much aa
"the right man" would want It.
'Any quest by wheh you can
make a "new test" of want ad
vertising today? Think It over.
Your store la NOT "M

unless your ambition and aspl
plratlons are under-sized.
There never was a day In any
calendar when adequate ad
vertising would do more for
your store than It will today.

INDIAN ALLOTMENTS
r. M. Tinker, Inspector of Indian
iffalrs of the department of t he in
terior, Is In the city In an endeavor
to locate Indians nnd ascertain their
lustres as to whether they wish to
retain allotments made them by the
government or prefer to relinquish
them to the government or exchnnge
them for other portions of govern
ment lands, says The Dalles Chron
icle.
The allotments in question are In
Oregon In township 2 north, range
east Willamette meridian, and
compromise some 15 to 20 allotments.
Originally the lands In question
were granted to the Northern Pacific
railroad company on condition that
It complete Its line bbtween Wallula
ana roruana unuer certain conditions
as regards time, etc. These lands
were portions of the grant which In
cluded every odd section adjacent to
the line of the company.
The railroad company failed to
comply with Its portion of the agree
ment, and the lands reverted to the
government. Later the railroad re
organized under the name of the
Northern Pacific Railroad company
and the grant was renewed.
But In the meantime white men
had settled on the lands which by
the delinquency of the railroad had
reverted to the government, and al
lotments to non-reservation Indians
had been made here by officials of
the Indian affairs of the govern
ment. That he may ascertain wheth
er the Indians who were given these
allotments wish to retain them, re
linquish or exchange them for other
lands Is the mission of Mr. Tinker In
this city at this time. He has been
here several days, and thinks It will
