CURED AT SLIGHT COST
BY CUTICURA REMEDIES
"Our little girl was two months old
when she got a rash on her face and
within five days her face and bead were
an one sore. Vte used ennerent reme
dies but it got worse instead of bettor
and we thought she would turn Dlina
and that her ears would fall off. She
suffered terribly, and would scratch
until the blood came. At night we
had to pin her hands down. This
went on until she was five months old,
then I had her under our family doo--tor's
care, but she continued to grow
worse. He said it was erwma. When
she was seven months old I started to
use Cuticura Soap, Cuticura Ointment,
and Cuticura insolvent, and in three
weeks what a change! 1 kept using
the Cuticura Kemedi for two months
and our baby was a different girl. Vou
could snot see a sign of a sore and she
was ai fair as a new-born babv, and all
for themall cost of a dollar and seventy
five omu where we had spent ten
times the money for doctoring. She
is now twv years old and has not had a
sign of the eczema since. Mrs. H. F.

Joe Bailey Resigns.
Joe Bailey, for the past five years
ranch at
Fosters, has resigned that position on
account of the health of Mrs. Bailey.
With his famny a few weeks will be
spent in the mountains, after which
their permanent residence will be es
tablished in Echo. We are not advis
ed concerning the line of business Mr.
Bailey will pursue, but we bespeak
the general sentiment In expressing
pleasure that this estimable family Is
to remain in our little city.
How Sagebrush Land Yields.
That little seven-acre tract of land
across the river .belonging to J. E,
Taylor, has so far produced 14 tons of
alfalfa hay and the third cutting is
now ready. Besides the hay he will
have three acres of potatoes to dig
this fall. This was sagebrush land
couple of years ago.
A PRAYER IN DEFEAT.
Still hurl me back God, If Thou
must!
Thy wrath, see, I shall bear
I have been taught to know the dust
Of battle and despair.
Bend not to me this hour, O God,
Where I defeated stand;
I have been schooled to bear Thy
rod,
And still wait, not unmanned!
But should tome white hour of sue
ceBS
Sweep me where , vine-like, lead
The widen roads .the clamoring
press
Then I Thy lash shall need!
Then, in that hour of triumph keen,
For then I ask Thine aid;
God of the weak, on whom I lean,
Keep me then unafraid!
