The fielding behind Graney was lamentably weak at times. Los Angeles on the other hand played a good, consistent game all the way through, their base running, as usual being the principal feature of the game. Gray pitched good ball and was well supported. William Coffman Is now engaged In nallem in ihe banking world, and that have had so little time to study the law and the beneficial effect It would bring to depositors and bankers that they are not urging the matter on I their representatives in the legisla ture. The banks will no doubt pro test on the ground that it' would bring into action a system of pater- shipping wood from Meacham and Kamela to this city and Is finding a good market for large quantities. During the summer the 0. R. & N. company gave a reduced freight rate from the mountain stations to this city and many people are taking ad vantage of the cheaper rate to lay In their supply of wood for the winter. There Is now a large amount of wood on' the dumps at Meacham, Ka mela and other mountain shipping points and there Is no danger of a fuel shortage during the coming winter. MOSES BARUH HERB.
