ROGERS, Manag er: Osteopathy It's a Messace to Women From One of Roth Schools. (By Henry Stanhope Bunting, A. B., D. O.', M. D.) Among the surprises of osteopathic practice Is the frequent cure of wo men who have been sick so long with Ills peculiar to their sex that they have berome resigned to the life of invalidism. These patients have fre quently cxhuasted all that specialism can do' for them, and seem to get worse In proportion to the amount of treatment received. How many sufferers with lucor rhea have been able to get relief from old-line treatments employed? Will it not come as Joyful news to untold thousands that osteopathy cures most of these cases? Indeed, ordinary cases of lucorrhea that is to say, those In which this disturbance Is not merely the symptom of grave organic changes, such as tumors are not diflfcult to check by osteopathic at tention to the lower spine, adjusting any mal-positions of the vertebrae, relating contracted ligaments and muscles, overcoming soreness and re establishing normal nerve energy and circulation throughout the pelvic re glon. It Is not at all wonderful thnt Os teopathy cures lucorrhea by this natural means of restoring anatomical order In the spine. Leucorrhea Is the result of these disturbed conditions, Just as they In turn are caused by such things as being too much on one's feet a thing which most mothers nnd housekeepers find It difficult, Jf not Impossible to avoid. Taking cold Is another frequent cause of these spinal lesions. The best and quickest results will be obtained where the patient can avail herself of rest; but most women cannot do this; and It Is to these that Osteopathy comes as a deliverance, Relieve that spinal Irritation, and normal pelvic circulation will euro leucorrhea like magic. Backache is a frequent accompanl ment of these cases ond Is an cloqucn witness that conditions in the spine are not as they should be. The promp relief of backache wphlch, maybe. has not been entirely absent a day for years will be the first notice that normal spinal conditions are return ing and that the leucorrhea is being relieved. Likewise by correcting anatomical disturbances affecting the nerve sup ply and circulation to the various pel vic organs, other functional Irregulari ties are remedied. Including sup pressed, delayed and painful menstu ration, "flooding," ovarian headaches, anemia, cold extremities, nervousness, sleeplessness and other attendant Mis., Whether every patient who suffers from these handicaps can bo entirely cured or not, one thing Is certain: A measure of benefit is not only pos sible but certain through competent osteopathic attention. While obtaining relief from these 111b, Intercurrent afflictions, such ns poor digestion nnd constipation, will certainly be overcome In the same de gree as the sexual Irregularities. This Is in accordance with the rule, that osteopathy tones up the whole system and brings all vital functioning to the normal 'at one and the same time. Surely, osteopathy has proven a god send to suffering women. ".1 liVvOF REFRIGERATION W VSA. "!;' tJf Our Automatic Reifhgeirat Save Ice and Save Provisions.
