general land office and a committee
or disinterested persons annotated hv
him. Every safeguard to insure fair
ness will be adopted. It is not es
sential that persons who aro reclster.

may procure and execute necessary
papers for registration, for which no
taries will be permitted to make a
charge of 25 cents.
Those who become entitled by the
drawing to make entry must, at the
time of filing their homestead appli
cations, pay the land office fees,
which amount to $14 for 150 acres,
and in addition the sum of $1 per
acre for the amount of land em
braced in the application and tho cost
of preparing filing papers.
After the drawing the lucky ones.
in tho order in which they are drawn,
will be permitted to select their lfcO
