Persons whose names arc drawn thereby secure tht right to make se lection of the lands, and homestead entry therefor, in the order of draw ing, beginning with No. 1. within six months after making entry the successful applicant for a rarm of 100 acres must establish a residence on the land selected by him or her. No fee whatever is required at tho time of registration. Each person may procure and execute necessary papers for registration, for which no taries will be permitted to make a charge of 25 cents. Those who become entitled by the drawing to make entry must, at the time of filing their homestead appli cations, pay the land office fees, which amount to $14 for 150 acres, and in addition the sum of $1 per acre for the amount of land em braced in the application and tho cost of preparing filing papers.
