Clattanooga, Tenn., Sept. 18. The tamous Wll-lcr Ilrigade Is celebrating the 40th anniversary of tho battlo of Chlckamaugui by holding a three- days' reunion on the battlefield. Tho reunion was formally openod today, tho vetorans rendezvousing at tho handsome Wilder monument on Wid ow Glenn's Hill. This afternoon tho survivors assembled at Alexander's bridge and listened to an Interesting historical address by General Wilder, in which tho leader reviewed tho events leading up to tho battlo and doscribed the position and tho oper ations of tho brigade on tho first day of the bloody conflict.
