At a meeting of ,the officers and members of the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon, Mr. Troutmau, the Pendleton architect, submitted plans and specifications for the new church building, says the Press. On presen tation, the cost was estimated at $7.- 000, or $1,000 more than was antic! pated when subscriptions were solic ited by Mr. Armfleld, the pastor. To cut the building plans down to conform with a JG.OOO huildlng would interfere to a certain extent in the matter of conveneince, and it was at once decided to build the $7,000 edi fice. The plans call for a building 63x83 feet. The lower story or basement will be of stone and the upper story will be constructed of brick. The lower floor will embrace the parlor. Epworth League room, a kindergar ten room, the kitchen and heating ap paratus. On the upper floor will be the main auditorium, lecture room, the pas tor's study and the. gallery. The ca pacity of the auditorium, together with the gallery and lecture room. will seat 600 persons. The old church building will b? of fered for sale at onco, and when it is disposed of, excavation for the new building will commence. Church Dedication Tomorrow.
