President Mnr tindale, of the Eastern Oregon State Normal School, is seriously ill and his friends fear for the worst. Two weeks ago Mr. Martlndale was taken suddenly with congestion of the lungs and since that has been quite low. Everything has been done that Is known to medical science, but. so far little benefit has been received, and today he Is quite low with little hopes of his recovery.
