Girl Scouts Entertain
Mothers at Pot Luck
Monday evening the Girl Scouts
were hostesses at a pot luck sup­
per to their mothers and teachers.
Twenty-seven plates were served
The table was decorated with mari­
golds and chrysanthemums and the
holiday napkins. Several people
found topics of discusión under
their plates und some of them were
too deep to be discussed intelligently
without more time for research. A
puzzle was also worked out during
the meul. Miss Moore told five dut­
ies of a troop committee. Mrs. Hol-
derness spoke of some of the pro­
jects to be carried out in the future.
When ilessert was served everyone
present found and put on their
heavy coats. It was a jolly supper
and it is hoped to have some more
when it isn't so cold. Next time it
is hoped some more mothers will be
able to attend.

Sportsmen Invited To
Attend Banquet at Medford
The Garden club met in regular
session, Friday, November 17. Tin
club decided to take the first course
in a series of lessons on “Fall unit

at their annual meeting held last

representatives present from Glen­
dale, Gold Hill, Grants Pass, Cen­
tral Point, Jacksonville and Med­
