Mr. Flynn's bid of »144.95 was by far the lowest ten dered the council at a special meet ing Monday night. Ollier bids received were: Jess Gilchrist, Gold H ill, »200.00; H arry Marx. Medford, »213.00. and W. W. Weiser, Gold H ill, »280.00. The contract calls for three coats of painl on the city hall and two coals on the other small buildings on the grounds. Work w ill start in the near future with Ihe Job to be completed some time in June. May 23, for the benefit of Alton Petri of Talent. Mr. Petri is suffering from infan tile paralysis and most of the granges of the county have raised money for the fund to send him to Warm Springs, Georgia, for treat ment.
