Two modern kilns of Moore’s re versible cross circulation design have been completed at Ingham Lumber Co.'s plant. Glendale, Ore gon. The buildings are of latest de sign of laminated wood construc tion and enjoy a low insurance rate. Il is said that wood kiln build ings of this type of construction are about as near fire-proof as if built of concrete, brick or tile. The Ingham Lumber Co. w ill use the new kilns p rincip ally fo r drying California sugar pine and fir. The kilns are 12 feel wide by 104 feet long und economically constructed, w ith the fan and heating system lo cated overhead and tracks on the ground. These kilns employ a sin gle longitudinal shaft fan system for each kiln.
