SAMS VALLEY NEWS T h irty members of the Sams Val ley Grange attended the special meeting ol the Oregon Slate grange in Central Point last Wednesday night. The Sams Valley d rill team had the honor o f seating the State Grange officers. Members of the te a m were: Jerome Fitzgerald. James and Wesley McDonough, It. E. Xealon, Burle Burreson, It. H. Seegunller. Maude Grant, S. S. Ab bott, Hershal Harper Dorothy Straus, Helen W illiam s. Mildred Duggan. Anna Mae Empey. Geo, Mc Donough. \V. C. Autenreith and M. A. Schulz w ith Helen Burreson as musician. This meeting was held for initiation in the sixth degree, and fort»-five candidates were initiate»!. For the feast, each person present received a plate containing several varieties of grapes, pears and ap ples.
