Quite often lately items have come to » ur attention through different persons, which would work to the im provement of our community, ami its development in the future, but almost has often, too, the regret has been ex pressed that there is no civic hi sly other than the C om mercial club, through which these civic projects can he promoted. One suggestion has been made to us—that a women’s organization be formed t o cooperate with the Commercial club when possible, in hacking community undertakings Because our town is comparatively small, and there arc already several organizations which have regular *nieeting days, and whose activities take considerable time, another idea has occurred to us that might meet the need, temporarily, at least.
