Thursday evening was represented at Bogue River and the Tennis Tourney by Margurite Wharton, Margurite Walker, Velma Davidson, Dorothy Smith, Ix’tsie Hodges Ida Johnson, Miss Poley, Vic Flint, Dick Morelock, Don Avery, Lloyd Miller, Frank Fink, and Horton Beeman, who proceeded to win every tiling w ¡lia b le in* eluding the everlasting envy of the retri- dents of “ Tail Holt” . Margurite Wharton won from Julia Martin to the tune of 2-6 6—love, and 6-4. Velma Davidson and Marguerite Walker carried away the honors in doubles from Julia and Lilia Martin in quick time 6-2,6-4. No high school hoys went down hut Vic Flint and Dick Morelock entertained their mens doubles to a score o, 6-4 6—love. After the session the whole crowd adjour tied to the city park and devoured a sum ptuous picnic of everything good.
