WILLAMETTE FARMER. Maiiiok County Items." Crlto ' fur nishes us the following : j The new bridge acros lllg PuiMingl river on the Snlvm nntl Foster roail Is I csinnlcted. It Is 27 feet above low witter mark; 313 feet long, double bents, and In j all respects Is a No. 1 job, and does credit I to inc winners n. u. mount, s. snmit, I and Mr. Drake. J. II. Htnigunmn Is now on n ontract for putting a cover on the I bridge. That bridge und road can bo crassed at all times of the year, and the ; river bottoms thero uru solid and not nwnmnv. The now brldgo across Ablqim crcuk nt Tucker's Is completed and ready for use. It Is a very good bridge, and the bottoms of the creek there are free from swamps or deep mud. About all the fall grain in Marlon co. Is now sown, and It is coming up evenly and well. There Is large acreage sown. The fall plowing Is progressing finely. One thing Is observable: the plows are set very deeply, anil much ;. dirt N turned up, which, assimilating with sur face soil, will produce heavy crops next vear. Sulcm-mntle plows are very popular' this fall, and are doing splu'idld work, i Tiie wim.ami:tti: i-aumku is also very popular, and is receiving an increased patronage and suppoit through the coun try. A communication about National Hanks will appear next week. .iiAiiKiitn. Nov. IS. istt. In II. iw II Prairie, by II Wel.ner. .1. I'.. .Mr. Marvin 1)1.
