Source: DNA Test Shows Colorado Inmate Not Prince’s Son By STEVE KARNOWSKI Associated Press MINNEAPOLIS— DNA test results show a Colorado prison inmate is not Prince’s son, a person who has seen a sealed document said Wednesday. The inding means that Carlin Q. Wil- liams is not entitled to inherit a fortune worth up to $300 million. The person who spoke to The Asso- ciated Press was not authorized to re- lease the inding and therefore request- ed anonymity. TMZ, citing unnamed sources with direct knowledge of the case, irst re- ported the DNA results. Attorneys for Bremer Trust, the spe- cial administrator for the estate, iled the results Wednesday in Carver Coun- ty District Court. Prince died of an accidental drug overdose on April 21 and no will has emerged for him. He had no known surviving children although a few oth- er people besides Williams have iled documents claiming Prince was or might have been their father.
