Climate March On Oct. 14 Seattle joined 170 communities around the country in the People’s Climate March. About 1,000 people marched from City Hall to Occidental Park in Pioneer Square to protest the TPP, and try and impact the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris in November. Killingsworth St. in Portland on Jan. 22. The presentation was followed by a Q&A with the audience; the entire event was free and open to the public. Justice for Black Lives Giovanni, 7, and his grandmother, Vicky Garner, watch as protestors march past their house on 23rd Avenue, in Seattle, Saturday May 2 for Justice for Black Lives, National Action Day. The group marched in solidarity with the people of Baltimore joining with another group of protestors on Rainier Avenue.
