Local News ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Runner-Ups Seek Second Shot K yle Massey can currently be seen on Dancing with the Stars: The Live Show in Las Vegas at the Tropicana Hotel. The multi-talented enter- tainer came in 2nd in the 11th sea- son of “Dancing with the Stars” on ABC-TV. Kyle is also the voice of Milo in the Disney animated series “Fish Hooks”. But he is perhaps best known for his starring role on Disney’s “That’s So Raven” and on its spinoff sitcom “Cory in the House.” Kyle recently starred in the Dis- ney Channel Original Movie “Life Is Ruff.” And he and his brother, Chris, are also accom- plished rappers in a group called “The Massey Boyz.” Here, Kyle talks about his quest to become the 13th contestant on the 15th season of ABC’s Danc- ing with the Stars: All Star Edi- tion. KW: Hi Kyle, why do you want to compete in the Dancing with the Stars All-Star edition? After all, you and your partner Lacey Schwimmer were runner-ups in Season 11. KM: Lacey and I want to com- pete in this competition more than anything! Being runner-up was amazing, but I think I’ve picked up a couple skills that would help me win. KW: How can your fans help you get back on? KM: Go to ABC.COM and VOTE KYLE! VOTE KYLE! from the judges she made a HUGE improvement. I think she is amaz- ing on and off the hardwood! C ELEBRITY I NTERVIEW KW: If you get back on, will you ask to be paired with Lacey again? KM: Without a doubt I would want to be paired with Lacey! KM: Yeah, “Where did you find your breathtaking swagger?” KW: What is your guiltiest pleasure? KM: That One Direction song about being beautiful. Ha-ha, it’s swag! KW: The bookworm Troy John- son question: What was the last book you read? KM: Does Twitter count? [LOL] I think it was “The Out- siders” forever ago. KW: What is your favorite dish to cook? KM: Spaghetti! Kyle Massey KW: How do you explain how well Bristol Palin did when you were on the show in spite of low scores from the judges? A lot of people were flabbergasted that she came in third. KM: Bristol came a long way. Even with the low scores KW: The Sanaa Lathan ques- tion: What excites you? KM: Parties.
