infield College is a four-year, non-profit college
recognized for its strong teaching faculty, out-
standing science programs, and distinctive
international emphasis. Degrees awarded are the
Bachelor of Arts, (BA) Bachelor of Science, (BS) and
the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

An Adult Degree Program offers several bachelor
degrees online and provides advisors who work close-
ly with the community colleges in Oregon and

Linfield is a comprehensive school, offering 40+
majors and 36 minors. Linfield has consistently earned
high rankings by such organizations as U.S. News and
World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges,” Barron’s
Guide and The Princeton Review. Linfield pioneered
online education in the Pacific Northwest and the
Linfield Adult Degree Program now serves a virtual
learning community of adult students plugged in from
around the globe.
With outstanding collaborative learning opportuni-
ties, nationally ranked NCAA III athletics, exciting
international studies opportunities, and a nationally
recognized community service program, Linfield’s
McMinnville Campus is a great place to live and learn.
At Linfield’s Portland Campus, students major in
nursing and health sciences. Residence hall, class-
rooms, labs, and library are located in NW Portland
next to Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center. Many
students also commute from the metro Portland area
and southwestern Washington.
The Adult Degree Program offers bachelor’s degrees

ness information systems, international business, man-
agement, nursing (RN to BSN), social & behavioral
sciences, and marketing, with courses delivered prima-
rily online.
Internet access and a web browser are all that a stu-
dent needs to have their own personal classroom.
Adult Degree Program students are eligible to begin at
Linfield with any number of previous college credits.
Adult Degree Program also offers classes on the
Portland campus one evening per week, and through
hybrid classes that blend face-to-face meetings twice a
month with online communication.
Linfield offers four professional certificate pro-
grams; Human Resource Management, Marketing,
Computer Information Systems and the Post
Baccalaureate Accounting Certificate.
Financial Aid is offered to all Linfield College stu-
dents. The majority of the students take advantage of
some form of scholarship or financial aid to help
finance their education.
Linfield College offers three unique programs, in

Oluloro is now a UO junior
who interned with doctors in
Bolivia and assists with faculty
research. She plans to become a
doctor to help the underserved
through community clinics.
Oluloro is one of many UO

Students at the UO choose
from 271 academic programs,
many of them ranked as among
the best in the world. Ann
Oluloro is pursuing a degree in
biology and biochemistry. She
works in Janis Week’s neuro-
science lab, developing new
drug technology. The UO’s neu-
roscience program is one of
many that rank in the top ten in
the U.S. Others include chem-
istry, economics, English, psy-
chology, molecular biology,
biochemistry, physics, and
sports marketing.
Students from fifty U.S. states
and 85 countries around the
world attend the UO. Over the
past five years, the UO wel-
comed more underrepresented
minority students than ever
before. The UO is a national
leader, and the top university in
Oregon, for graduation rates of
underrepresented students.
