helicopter flew over East Berlin
Thursday in defiance of previ
ous Soviet protests.
After the flight, which an
Army spokesman called routine,
the Russians delivered an oral
protest in the four-power Berlin
Air Safety Center.
The Western Allies insist there
are no restrictions on flights
within the Berlin control zone.
The zone has a radius of 20
miles from the Air Safety Cen
ter in the city center.

tion to Cordley Hall at Ore
gon State University; physical
education building at Southern
Oregon, and the library build
ing addition and alteration at
Oregon College of Education.

"Tahiti was the worst," said
Hope. "I lost three of my men
there. The Pacific islands are
so great I was tempted to jump
ship myself."
Hope is on a three-year pleas
ure cruise.
