EUGENE REGISTER-GUARD, Sunday, Jan. 20, 1963 Page 34 Television Previews Edie, Dinah to Host Top Musicians ' Twn ftf Wntlvwnnri' inn (a male singers will be hosts to two special musical variety pro grams tonight. Edio Adams' third special of the season is scheduled for 9:30 on Channels 9 and 12 and Dinah Shore will be host to several guest pianists at 10 o'clock on Channels 13 and 8. Edie's half-hour show has a Latin-American flavor with guest appearances by two ex ponents of the Bossa Nova saxophonist Stan Getz and Bra lilian jazz guitarist Laurindo : Almeida. Joining Dinah for her hour long program are Liberace, Ray Charles, Peter Nero and Big Tiny Little. The history of the piano from the lyrical precision of Chopin to the spirited impro visations of modern jazz will be traced.
