Kiebert-Stutz The engagement of Miss Sandra Kiebert to Darvel Stutz was announced during the holiday season. Miss Kiebert is the daughter of Mrs. Martin Peter Kiebert and the late Mr. Kiebert of Seattle. Mr. Stutz is the son ot Mr. and Mrs. Dell Stutz of Pleasant Hill. A wedding date has not been set. (Bette) Prom of Harris burg announces the engagement of her daughter, Arvella Edna, to Michael John Kokkeler, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kok keler of Junction City. Wells) are at home in Toppentsh, Wash., follow ing their recent marriage in First Christian Church in Eu gene. The Rev. Carlton C. Buck performed the double ring ceremony. For the ceremony Mrs. Wells wore an emerald green sheath dress with white accessories - and a white orchid corsage. Mrs. Richard Squires, daugh ter of the bride, and Mr. Squires attended the couple. Mrs. Squires wore a light beige dress with matching ac cessories and a green orchid corsage. Whito stock and chrysan themums and tapers decorat ed the church for the wed ding. A reception followed at Bev's Steak House. The couple made a wedding trip to Los Angeles and Mexico before re turning to Toppenlsh where Mr. Dills is in business. John Saunders, Metho dist minister, performed the ceremony In a small non-denominational chapel. : The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Bau man of Eugene and the bride groom Is the son of Mrs. Ray mond Clark of Whlttler, Calif. Miss Reddish wore a street length gown of white slipper satin embroldored on the skirt with silk cording and small pearls. Her circular veil was held by a crown ot sequins and she carried a white orchid circled by stcph anotis. She was given in mar riage by her stepfather, Mr. Bauman. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas But ler ot Whlttler attended the couple. Following the ceremony a reception for close friends and members of the families was held at the Sacramento Inn. The couple will live In Whlltlor. Both young people are pro fessional singers and enter taincrs. The new Mrs. Perkins is known professionally as Rita Ness and Mr. Perkins la known as Barry Dane. Veneta Church Slated for Rite Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Broemser of Portland announce the approaching marriage of their daughter, Ellse Adelo, ot Eugene, to Myron Stewart Berg, son of Mr. and Mrs. 0. Conrad Berg of Eugene. The marriage will be an evening, ceremony Jan. 18 In Christ Lutheran Church, Veneta. Miss Broemser la a graduate ot Gatskanle High School and attended Bible Standard Collego In Eugene for two years. She now Is employed at Montgomery Ward ft Co. as cashier. Her fi ance, a graduate of Elmlra High School, has served for four years in the U.S. Navy. He now Is employed in Eugene at the Giustlna Bros. Lumber Co. Miss Maureen Bates wore a gown of whito lace over taf feta, fasihoned with long sleeves and tiered skirt, when she was married to Donald A. Mannila Dec. 29 in Spring field Christian Church. The Rev. James Fraley officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Bates and Mr. Mannila is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mannila. Both families are of Spring field. With her wedding gown Miss Bates wore a short veil of Illusion held by a whito crown, and carried white rosebuds. Mrs. Darrcll Man sell, the bride's sister, was matron of honor. She wore a sheath dress of red brocade and carried red and white car nations. Richard Mannila was best man for his brother and ush ers were I'avld Kirkwood and Lee Roy Johnson. A reception was followed In the church parlor, where Mrs. Milton Erickson cut the cake, Mrs. Kirkwood, aunt of the groom, poured coffee 'and Miss Carolyn Downcs served punch. Miss Uene Haugen presented the guest book. For their wedding trip to Portland and the coast the bride wore a turquoise wool dress with black accessories. The couple now is at home at Forest Grove where Mr. Man nila attends Pacific University. Pair Makes June Plans Mr. and Mrs. George E. Garner of Eugene announco the engagement of his daugh ter, Marlcne Garner, to James Hutchinson, son ot Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hutchinson, also ot Eugene. A June wedding is planned. Miss Garner, who also is the daughter of Mrs. Hazel Calloway of Eugene, is a sen ior at Willamette High School. Mr. Hutchinson Is employed by his father at Hutch's Bi cycle Shop. Home Service Marries Pair Mrs. Iva May Tyrrell of Eugene and Floyd Roynon ot Creswell were married Jan. 1 in a morning ceremony In the home of the officiating min ister, the Rev. Dexter Willi ams. The date was Mr. Roy non's birthday. Mrs. Tyrrell wore a dark blue dress and black acces sories. The couple now Is residing at Creswell, in a trailer house on Market Road. The bride groom Is retired.
