point losers among key issues.
Only a few stocks were down

of these were affected by cor
porate developments.
Practically all major groups
showed a majority of minus
signs. Rails, metals, aircraft
and utilities led the way.

Home.
Lane County Commissioners
awarded the contract on Nel
son's bid of $7,370. Nelson's bid
was the lowest of about seven
submitted for bid opening Mon
day morning.
The addition Is to be com
pleted in 40 working days. It
will consist of an 18-by 30-foot
room and a 12-by 30-foot slab of
concrete adjacent to the room
with a roof canopy.
The new room will be used
for storage and for a small shop
area.
