Oregon State BPW Elects New Officers Mrs. V. L. Greene of The Dalles has been elected presi dent of Oregon Federation of Business and Professional Wo men's Clubs. She succeeds Mrs. Loren A. Norton of Eugene. Mrs. Greene, who has had more than 25 years of contin uous experience in office work and management, now is man ager of a privately owned hos pital in The Dalles. A past president of the BPW Club of The Dalles, she has served the state federation as correspond ing secretary, treasurer, finance chairman, second and first vice president. Bricco, Klamath Falls; membership, Officers Installed By Veneta Unit VENETA Mrs. Jack Rogers was installed as chairman of the Veneta Home Extension Unit at the May meeting. Mrs. Carney Stevens, a past chairman, was installing officer. Other new officers installed included: Mrs. George Sher wood, vice chairman; Mrs. Lloyd Morrell, secretary, and Mrs. Gus tavo Smith, treasurer. E. Campbell of Oak ridge was elected a member of the nominating committee for the Cascade District. Elected delegates to the Na tional convention of BPW Clubs were: Mrs. Norton, Mrs. Nor cross, Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. Sjo gren and Miss Fern Trull of Grants Pass. The three-days session con cluded Sunday at a breakfast Sunday morning in Eugene Ho tel when the program included the Emblem ceremony and a memorial service. JOYCE HA1NSWORTH Appointed Director GS Council Head Named Mrs. Donald Dickey, president of Three Rivers Girl Scout Coun cil, announces the appointment of Mi.ss Joyce T. Hainsworth as executive director for the coun cil. Miss Hainsworth, previously a district adviser, has replaced Mrs. Larry Watson who has re signed because of her impend ing marriage to Dr. S. Raynor of Bothell, Wash. Mrs. Watson served as executive director for more than four years. Miss Hainsworth came to Three Rivers Council in 1954, following professional work in the Jamestown, N.Y., council. She received her B.S. degree from Boston University. In her new position she will work with the finance, personnel, public relations, and program commit tees, as well as supervise the staff. Mrs. Alison Wysong, former member of the council board of directors, has been employed in Miss Hainsworth'8 previous as signment, serving as district ad visor to the Westside, Fernridge and Eastlane districts and co ordinating the day camp pro gram.
