Ring Death Kept Alive By RICK DU BROW Of the United Preai International HOLLYWOOD All of the moral indignation over the death of fighter Benny "Kid" Paret apperently will have little immediate affect on televised boxing. ABC-TV has renewed the matches for next season. But ABC sources say the program's future may not be so certain in the fall of 1962. Investigations continue. And shows such as Wednesday night's David Brink ley interview with Emile Grif fith the other boxer in the ring when Paret was fatally in juredkeep the matter alive. The overwhelming impression was the pathetic situation of a man trying to Justify an occu pation he feels was good to him, but which eventually landed him in the center of a night mare he never really made. Brinkley brought out in a epi logue that Paret had earned $223,000, but hardly any of it was left when he died. Implicit in his statement and the Inter view was the fact that two am bitious youngsters, each of poor background, had become involv ed in a business in which others created the rules, shared the profits but escaped personal tragedy.
