" (Minn photo) Haase-Smith Bouquets of white and pink stock and aqua - tinted chrysanthemums decorated Springfield Christian Church for the marriage May 5 of Miss Connie Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan C. Smith of Springfield, to F. David Haase, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred D. Haase of Eugene. The Rev. J. A. Fraley officiated. Miss Smith wore a full-length gown of taffeta trimmed at the neckline with Point d'Venise lace. The full skirt extended into a chapel train. Her veil of silk illusion was held by a double crown and she carried pink roses and white carnations on a white Bible, a gift from her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Saucr. Miss Ida Rcdlich. maid of honor. Miss Jerralyn Schnell and Miss Clarcn Best, brides maids, wore gowns of pale aqua brocaded satin with matching veil headpieces and carried aqua and pink chrysanthemums. Gary Smith and Donald Haase, brothers of the couple lighted candles. Kenneth Stayton was best man and ushers were Glen Athry and Bert Terry. A reception was held in the church parlor, where Mrs. Albert L. Smith and Mrs. James S. Smith cut the cake, Mrs. E. D. Jordan and Miss Patty Page served coffee and punch. Miss Betty Chcsterman presented the guest book and Miss Christy Whitakcr and Miss Pamela Smith took care of gifts. Following I wedding trip to Canada the couple will make their home in Eugene. Special guest at the wedding was the groom's grandmother, Mrs. E. I. Bolton of South Pasa dena, Calif. McCulloch-Keeney Pink flowers on the altar of Harlow Chapel of First Baptist Church set the color theme for the marriage of Miss Rebecca Keeney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Keency of Bagdad, Ariz., and Douglas McCul loch, son of Mrs. J. Wesley McCulloch of Veneta and the late Mr. McCulloch. The Rev. William J. Richardson of Northwest Christian College faculty read the ceremony May 5. Miss Davis wore a full-length gown of Chantilly lace with iridescent sequins and pearls on the scalloped neckline. She carried white rosebuds and stephanotis on a white Bible. Mrs. Robert Villbrandt was matron of honor. Miss Carol Sutton of Eugene and Mrs. Ferren Holm of Sutherlin, cousin of the bride, were attendants. They wore street length pink rotton satin gowns and carried variegated pink carnations. , Lee Doane was best man and ushers were Gordon McCulloch. brother of the groom, and Kenneth Holland. Miss Virginia Bukcr sang, accompanied by Mrs. James Fraley. A reception was held in the Rhoda McNutt Room of the church. Miss Lois Campbell cut the cake, Miss Wanda Lewis served punch, and Miss Bessie Stillson presented the guest book. Miss Audrey Crawford and Miss Carol Friedrich took care of gifts. The couple is at home in the Crow area. The bride's parents and her brother, John B. Keeney, came from Arizona for the wedding. For their wedding trip to Eastern Oregon the bride wore a green and white wool ensemble. The couple now is at home In Eugene. a wedding gown of nylon em broidered tulle fashioned with I full skirt when she was married to Larry E. Putney in Bellfountain Community Church April 28. The Rev. Dee Walburn performed the double-ring ceremony before a background of lilacs and candles. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clif ford Bosteter of Eucene and the bridecroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Putney of Monroe. With her wedding gown the bride wore a veil held by a crown of pearls and carried an orchid on a whitle Bible Miss Tonya Burgess, maid of honor, wore a gown of pink Stewart-Choate Miss Jacqueline Ann Choate wore a full length gown of lace and tulle touched with sequins when she was married May S to Gary Lee Stewart in Harlow Chapel of First Baptist Church. The Rev. Buren Higdon of Trinity Baptist Church officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Choate of Springfield and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Stewart of Eugene. With her wedding gown the bride wore a pouff veil of silk illusion held by a petal lace crown. She carried white carnations and roses on a Bible and wore a pearl necklace, gift from the bridegroom. Miss Lynda Stewart, maid of honor, wore a sheath of lavender organza with bouffant overskirt. Bridesmaids were Miss Jaync Bak er, Miss Cheryl Elmore and Miss Meade Winters, who were gowns of aqua organza. They carried lavender chrysanthemums. Robert Stewart, the groom's brother, was best man and ushers were Richard Nicol, Alvie Powers and Robert Lochner. At the reception Mrs. Cleo Neeley and Mrs. Leon Choate cut the cake. The Misses Nancy and Mary Pitchford served and Mrs. Lorcn Hazelton had the guest book. The couple is at home in Eugene at 1006 W. 7th Ave. Among out-of-state guests were Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Hum bert May 5 in St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. Eugene N. Heidt performed the double ring ceremony at 6 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. H. Burton Davis are parents of the bride. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Picolet. With her wedding gown Miss Davis wore a fingertip veil of illusion and carried white carnations and stephanotis. Her crystal neck lace had been her great grandmother's. Miss Donna Partch was maid of honor. Other attendants were Miss Kathy Richard son and Mrs. Donald Weixclman. All wore bouffant gowns of yellow embossed cotton with white picture hats and carried garden baskets filled with yellow and white daisies. Margaret Davis, cousin of the bride, was flower girl and Oscar Davis, bride's brother, was ringbearer. Donald H. Weixclman was best man. Ush era were Kenneth Lowcry, Robert Harris, Har old Ehm and John Humbert. A reception followed in Washington Park Recreation Center. Mrs. Sterling Shaffer and Mrs. Everett Rose cut the cake. The couple now is at home at 1440 Wil ton Court, Eugene. Denning-Lawson In a candlelight service in Springfield Christian Church, Miss Jcanyce Lawson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Lawson, was married May 4 to Donald Bruce Denning, son of Mrs. Richard Denning and the late Mr. Denning. Both families are of Springfield. Bouquets formed I background for the double-ring service which was performed by the Rev. J. A. Fraley. The bride wore a street-length gown in a light lilac shade with flower headdress and carried a bouquet of orchids. Mrs. Marlin W. Jenkins, matron of honor, wore a lilac and white print afternoon dress. John T. Denning was best man. Gail McQuin and Sonja Halveraon, nieces of the groom, lighted the candles. Mrs. J. A. Fraley played the wedding music. A reception followed in the home of Mrs. Bucford Halvorson. Mrs. Tom Denning and Mrs. Lloyd McQuin assisted with serving. Mis. Carl Hunter, sister of the bride, presented the guest book. For their trip to Canada the bride wore a light blue suit with white accessories. Weir, and the usher was Tom Titus, brother-in-law of the bride. The reception took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Titus on McKenzie High way, with Miss Zelma Perini and Mrs Catherine McMartin cutting and serving the cake. For their wedding trip to the coast, Mrs. Eggleston wore a navy blue box suit with white accessories. They art now at home at Monroe. Mrs. Lon E. Thornhill of Junction City announce the wedding of their daughter, Carole, to William D. Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Hansen of Salem. The cere mony took place recently in the Federated Congregational Presbyterian Church In Reno, the Rev. Felix A. Manlry of ficiatins. The bride wore a blue dress with a white lace bodice, and white accessories. She wore a necklace which had been worn by the bridegroom's grand mother at her wedding., Her flowers were a bouquet of Parks-Dart Miss Sibyl Dart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Dart of Coos Bay, and Kenneth D. Parks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Parks of Eugene, were married May 4 in University Street Church of Christ. The Rev. Leo Wood ruff performed the ceremony at 8 p.m. Miss Dart wore a full-length gown of lace and silk organza, the lull skirt fashioned with a butterfly bow at back. She carried white rosebuds and wore a pearl drop necklace, a gift from the bridegroom. Miss Linda Rood, maid of honor, and Miss Carmen Boyer, bridesmaid, both of Coos Bay, wore ballerina-length gowns of maize bro cade satin and carried white carnations. Joni Stevens, the bride's niece, was flower girl. James Sartcllc Jr. was best man and ush ers were LeRoy Kellogg and Vernon Kellogg. Yellow carnations and white snapdragons decorated the altar. Miss Linda McLanin was vocalist. A reception was held at the church. Mrs. Carney Stevens, the bride's sister, cut the cake. Miss Jean Pine and Mrs. Fred Toohey served punch and coffee. Miss Sandra Rice took care of gifts and Miss Alvina Landwing presented the guest book. For their wedding trip to the Oregon Caves the bride wore an orange and beige sheath dress. The bride is a graduate of Junc tion City schools and attended Oregon College of Education at Monmouth. Parents of both and also numerous friends from Eu gene went to Reno for the wedding. J .
