Then . , , put some dry detergent beads into the pan and wipe it again with another paper towel. Use no water at this time. A quick sudsing in the dishwasher and rinsing with very hot water is all that is necessary to finish the job. G.T. I just cleaned a skillet this way. thing so simple. It's terrif! Imagine any-Heloise Dear Heloise: Mothers who warm baby bottles on the stove and get the milk too hot can solve this problem by using my method . . . which guarantees perfect temperature. Place the bottle of formula in a pan and set it under hot running water in the sink. The proper temperature of the formula is reached in a surprisingly short time, with no risk involved. Mrs. P.W. Dear Heloise: I have four children, all hearty eaters so I must serve potatoes many and often. I buy 10 pounds at a time and after I set aside enough for one meal of mashed potatoes, I boll the rest with their jackets on. After they are cool, I store them in the refrigerator. I also boil eggs at the same time. With these two very basic foods cooked and ready for imaginative use, my quick menu possibilities are endless. I have removed the time element from preparing potato salad, cheese and potato casserole, home fries, deviled eggs, etc. Reader Dear Heloise: Does anyone know how to remove stitch and needle marks from material? I sure hope so. Housewife Anyone know? Write to Heloise, co this paper today. Heloise Dear Heloise: For mildew In closets, on shelves and walls . . . just dip a cloth in plain, straight household vinegar and rub all the mildew from the wood. Let dry thoroughly. Always clean all the mildew from the walls before painting. I have seen and used this method and it works. Marty Copyright, 1962, King Features Syndicate, Inc. HEADQUARTERS ...
